Wake up to the smell of fresh baked homemade bread and the music of birds singing.  Look out your window and what do you see?  Beautiful huge cypress trees bordering the Guadalupe River just above Gruene, Tx.
After a delightful and hearty social breakfast, explore the scenic beauty of the Texas Hill Country by taking a walk, a bicycle ride or enjoying a canoe ride.  If you are lucky you may spot a blue heron, a running deer, or at least a lazy turtle on a lost floating branch.
Relax,sun tan, or read a good book lying on our comfortable lawn chairs or sitting in the chair swing under the cool of the shade trees, or take relief from the hot summer days by jumping into the green/blue Guadalupe.
Visit historic Gruene, just half mile down river, and enjoy eating, shopping, and dancing in the oldest dance hall in Texas.
Come home and fall asleep under a star-filled sky to the lullaby of cicadas, grasshoppers, and frogs.
Next day there is plenty more to be discovered.
